If you’re a fan of the Big Bang Theory, we think you’ll find love at the Noodle Theory. It’s a noodle parlour franchise that recently found it’s way to Coimbatore, serving their customers the many variants of noodles such as Flat and Udon. The restaurant follows a familiar formula(pun intended) of “Make your own” where fellow foodies can choose their choice of noodles, toppings, sauces, and much more. The menu itself looks like a physics paper with multiple choice questions representing items in the menu, and you just tick what you want and submit it at the counter. While we understand that a first experience here can be overwhelming in terms of lack of knowledge on certain Asian cuisines, it’s a road to take for us!

For our first experience, we ordered Udon Noodles with Schezwan Sauce, Paneer Pepper Overdose(starter), Kitkat Brownie(dessert)and finally a Edison(Ginger Lemonade). The noodles were pretty good and had a distinct taste. The Paneer Pepper Overdose was also very good and generous with quantity. The Brownie was our favourite, no matter how simple it may look. The Ginger Lemon was sub-par. All in all, the place is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for cuisine here after all.
